Hi friends , I hope that our children are really like sweets. Gulab jamun is one of the popular Indian sweet made from koya(evaporated milk solid) .
Gulab jamun is a favorite Indian dessert served in parties, weddings, and all traditional funtions.
Let’s see the recipe
Ingredients:
* 200gram koya
*100gram paneer
*2to3 tablespoon all purpose flour
*2tablespoon powdered rava
*4 green cordomoms
*milk as required
*1/4 baking powder
*Oil for deep fry
*250 grams sugar
*1cup water
*1 tablespoon rose water
Preparation :
1. Take koya in a bowl and mash it well. There should be no lumps.
2. Then add paneer,cordomoms,rava,all purpose flour and baking powder in to koya milk well and add milk to make a smooth dough don’t knead too hard just gently make a dough.
3. If your dough is rough just add one tablespoon milk and make a smooth dough and cover a dough keep aside for 30 minutes.
4. Make a small jamun balls and cover the balls and keep aside.
* MAKING SUGAR SYRUP*
5. Dissolve sugar in water heat the sugar solution for one string consistency.
6. Add rose water to the syrup.
7. Mean while the sugar syrup is ready, heat oil in medium heat and fry the jamun balls.
8. Fry the balls till it get golden brown color evenly.
9. Remove the jamun from the oil and drain them in kitchen tissue to drain excess oil and put the jamun balls into the hot sugar syrup. Continue this way and fry all jamun balls in batches.
10. Once all the jamuns all placed into the sugar syrup. Keep the pan with syrup and jamun in low heat for 2 minutes. It helps for the absorb the sugar syrup and become soft and fluffy
After 30 minutes enjoyed the tasty gulab jamun
